I was born on 7th November 1988 (7/11 teehee...) which makes me twenty years old and a Scorpio. I have lived my whole life in lovely sunny Australia. I currently stand at 5"4, I have blue eyes and light/medium brown hair. I write with my right hand. I'm currently employed at a shoe shop while I complete a Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion at university!
'In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.' - Coco Chanel, French Couturier, n.d.
I'm not sure how I'd describe my personality, because I know that others would perceive different. It's like listening to your voice played back to you. In your head it's a lovely articulate, un-squeaky, nice tone. Yet in reality, you sound like a cross between a ten year old girl and dull boring male monotone.
My parents are divorced. I'm one of two children, the youngest behind a twenty-two year old brother who is my wonderful host for this domain. I'm not religious, but at this point in time I'd probably describe myself as being Agnostic.
'And the social and cultural mobility afforded by the Internet means that people can, through the use of clothing, invent themselves.' - Nylon Street, The Nylon book of global style, 2006.
I love fashion and try my best to look nice, with a touch of originality. Currently, my favourite clothes and accessories are my black Grace Kelly style sunglasses, a silver Michael Kors watch, Sass & Bide Black Rats pants and a pair of black patent party shoes. I like my shoes to be tall and interesting. I also enjoy designing and altering clothes.
I cruise the streets in my own 1994 model metallic blue Ford Laser. I've had my licence since December 2007. I used to have purple Hello Kitty seat covers but a milkshake was spilt on them and so they were removed. Since then, they seemed a bit tacky. I would quite like a Hello Kitty shaped exhaust attachment though!
At my Mum's house we have one cat and one dog. The dog is called Donut and she's a Whippet-x who hates all other dogs and loves all people. She's also scared of clothes. The cat is called Pinkle-Purr or Mr. P or Ping and he's a Ragdoll x Scottish shorthair who likes to attack things and loves anything that (and anyone who) is shiny. He also enjoys climbing screen doors, getting frisky with my toy duck and playing in his litter tray. At my Dad's house we have two cats: A black cat called Lemmy and a grey tabby with 3 legs called Littie. They hate each other and enjoy smothering the heating ducts.
'That's what learning is. You suddenly understand something you understood all your life, but in a new way.' - Doris Lessing, Author, n.d.
I chose to study Public Health and Health Promotion at University because it was the only course that really stood out at me. I'm still not sure where it will take me but it should be fun finding out. I figure that I'm a reasonable student, with grades averaging between Credits and Distinctions which suit me just fine.
'We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment.' - Hilaire Belloc, n.d.
I love to travel. Going on holidays to new places is one of the things I most enjoy. I have a magazine cut-out on my wall that says 'My holiday photos are the reason I take holidays' It's very true. I've been on three major trips in my life. Once when I was three, another when I was 11, and more recently in June/July 2007 when I was 18. I've also been on various other, smaller scale holidays. The best places I've been include Ontario Canada, England, Wales, Paris and Avignon in France, and Venice in Italy. As for Australia, Victoria, Queensland, ACT and Western Australia were all fantastic. I was once physically sick leaving Customs at Los Angeles Airport in the United States; I don't think they appreciated it. On the other hand, I didn't appreciate waiting in the packed customs hall for 2 hours after spending 14 hours on a plane. Sweet revenge.
