Tomorrow I leave Canberra and embark on the start of my trip overseas. Here are some beautiful Canberra memories.
Old Parliament House Rose Gardens | Bathroom at the Hyatt Hotel | Inside the roof of the Canberra Glassworks | A swan on Lake Burley Griffin | Captain Cook Fountain with the National Library in the background | The Australian Coat of Arms | Fountain in the Rose Gardens
/edit/ My friend Andy took this photo on my phone and posted it onto my Tumblr. I think he was trying to show off the trophies his Dragon Boating team won. *golf claps*
How cute is this luggage tag? It was delivered to me through internal mail at work. My boss knows me too well :D
Today, I bought travel insurance and some foreign cash.
Tomorrow, I will be looking for a nice pen, a pair of jeans and some thick tights. I might also buy a new iphone case.
The day after tomorrow will be my 6th last day of work. It will also mean I have 11 days left in Canberra and 18 left in Australia.
I’m a bit scared.
Happy Easter! Isn’t this the cutest little chocolate duck? I won it at my boss’ baby shower last week. It’s still sitting in the fridge because I refuse to eat something so cute!
Desperately seeking a wrap dress like this. But in a size that fits. And not light grey.
I think this will be a mission for the UK. Because I’ll be moving to the UK in 26 days!
When you’re walking through a park, minding your own business when suddenly a cyclist appears. But not just any old cyclist, a cyclist with a dodgy old bike that’s all rusty and shit. It makes such pleasant noises as eeeeeeecccchhhh and asdfheksbdidn.
Sometimes I wish I had a handbag-size can of WD40.
The cyclist would thank me after carefully spraying his bike in all the right places. He may even promise to stop saying “passing on the left” and stick will a good old fashioned bell, or simply screaming “bike” when passing me by. I’d be happy with that. And he’ll be happy too as he sails off into the distance with a nice, smooth whoosh.
- Being productive at work
- Being more than friends with a boy
- Planning a year-long holiday
Choose two.
