Just sayin’…</p> <p>My friend and I bought tickets to see him in Sydney on Friday. My mind was blown. We weren’t very close as you can see from my grainy pictures but we could see everything, and the big screens helped.</p> <p>Kanye puts on a good show. He has the dancers, the lights, and an awesome red leather two-piece suit. His songs are amazing. I can listen to them over and over again. I could now start talking in some fancy muso language about why his songs are so damn good but I don’t know how. All I know is that he is a very talented guy. But he also has an enormous ego. </p> <p>I’ve never been to a concert where the lead stops the band midway through a song to tell the lighting guys to fix up their act…And then starts the song from the beginning. He also stopped later on because we, the crowd, weren’t singing loud enough.</p> <p>At least you know that you don’t pay to see a sub-par show. He puts everything into it and you get everything out of it.</p> <p>There was a good mix of old and new. Some huge hits I’d completely forgotten about. I was hoping that he’d play one of my favourites, Blame Game, but unfortunately he didn’t. Every aspect of my life seems to be pointing me in that direction, except for my work. It’s just not the right time for me to up and leave. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and my job loves me. We’re a perfect match. But is it rational for me to not follow through with opportunities, dreams, a bonus $50 flight voucher just because of a job? I can’t let a job rule my life. This would be the kind on thing I’d regret if I didn’t do it.</p> <p>Here are some shoes from Topshop. I thought things would be different after a break but its still the same old stuff day in, day out.</p> <p>I miss my cat and I miss my mum. And I wish I had someone to share my life with. The town has less than 300 residents, yet their tavern’s NYE party attracts 1600 partygoers. </p> <p>We stayed with a friend’s friend next to Lake Mulwala. It’s gorgeous; filled with old, dead trees, the grass beside it is luscious and green. The boats that cruise it tow water-skiers and wake-boarders. There is also an abundance of young topless men for some reason.
